My Practice

Psychotherapy is a collaborative, creative process that can help you live more freely, connect to your vitality, and find more fulfilling ways to love, work, and play.

I work with individual adults, individual adolescents (14yo+), and romantic/sexual partners as well as other dyads (creative partners, coparents, and more).

My approach is non-pathologizing and I am affirming of diverse sexualities, gender identities and expressions, and ways of being in community and relationship with others. I am committed to people’s freedom to self-determination and I work to hold individuals’ complex relationships to their identity affiliations. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ communities and a wide variety of partnership and family constellations.

FAQs

Where are you?

My practice is primarily virtual (throughout CA), though I see a limited number of clients in-person in my office in the Bay Area (Albany).

Do you take insurance?

I am not currently contracted with any insurance providers, though I am happy to provide a superbill for our sessions if your insurer provides coverage for out-of-network providers.

What is your fee?

My current fee for 50-minute individual sessions is $225 and my fee for 50-minute partner/dyad sessions is $250. I reserve a portion of my practice for sliding scale and low-fee clients, so please reach out if you think this might be appropriate for you.

How do we begin?

If you think you might be interested in working together, contact me to schedule a free consultation so we can determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. I will ask you some basic questions to understand what is at stake for you right now, and you will have a chance to ask me your own questions. If we decide to move forward, we will schedule 2-3 initial sessions after which we can decide whether to proceed with regular work together.
